Established in 1978, Bulletin of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Assiut University) is a peer-reviewed, open-access (OA) international journal.

It is the official biannual journal of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University. Its publications are multidisciplinary in the pharmaceutical fields and emphasize on originality and scientific quality. The Journal is abstracted and indexed by Scopus, The Chemical Abstracts (CA) and The International Pharmaceutical Abstracts (IPA). The types of articles published in the journal are original research articles, notes, short communication, and review articles.

The journal is published in both print and online versions and all articles published in the journal are fully open-access and freely available online, immediately upon publication. Publication Fee  starting from January 2026 is For Egyptians: A sum of  One thousand (1000LE) Egyptian pounds and for foreigners: A sum of One hundred fifty dollars (150$)
